One of our favorite Portland bands, Blood Beach, is also the band of two of our favorite staff members!  They had the amazing opportunity to open for the band Fucked Up, at the Hawthorne Theatre recently.  Stop by the store and pick up their cd!  Here is a taste!

What an amazing time!

Bill Frisell graced the store with his presence on a rainy night in Portland.  He played an incredible set, took requests, signed autographs, and took pictures with anyone who asked (and a lot of people asked).  He is truly an amazing artist, and a very kind person. We here at E.M. have the upmost respect for any artist who takes the time out to help a local independent record store increase traffic and visibility for the business.  Many thanks to the staff that helped for the event, and even more thanks to all the customers, old and new, who showed up on a rainy night to help make this event a truly memorable experience for all! As always, we thank you for your continued support.

On record store day this year...

a ton of amazing local musicians came and showed Everyday Music their love. One of those people was Danny Seim of the band Menomena.
